Hope In The Unseen

What is God doing during sheltering-in-place?

A question that has been asked again and again throughout this unique season of life. This period of hiddenness can bring about a wide range of emotions from fear and discomfort, to reflection and curiosity. It can feel quite shaky not knowing what is to come. As children of the Most High, we have the choice to actively demonstrate our faith at this hour, more than possibly ever for some of our lifetimes. A faith that there is so much more behind the scenes. Where our blind spots sit, there also is transformation, revolution, and growth. Within our faith lives the knowledge that He has done miraculous things before and will continue to do it again.

Artists from across the nations visually bear witness to how they have seen hope in a time of solitude and uncertainty.

Art Evangelist School 2020 World Outreach Exhibition

This group of Art Evangelists dedicated six weeks to honing artistic skills and using visual arts as a tool to connect with others. The troop set out to collectively discover and create something with God. Granted, it has been done on a primarily virtual platform, as you are viewing here. The aim was to be able to bear witness to the glory and presence of God through creative means, sharing with those near and far via mail, video-call, social media, etc.

Here we submit to you a body of works that have been prayerfully prepared in tandem with Holy Spirit, in hopes that each will speak to you; may they plant seeds of wonder, open a spiritual conversation, inspire faith, give you reason to hope, bring about joy, and in it all set the platform for Creator himself to be revealed.
